Tell yourself, maybe even out loud: “It’s totally fine if I have made mistakes or have wasted my limited time and energy doing things I shouldn’t have. All I need to do right now is to start to try to do better.” That’s it! Just do what is in your control, in the best way you know, in the present moment.

Starting a New Project: Blogging

I used to hear about blogs quite often. Friends who had them would mention them and I’d think “Interesting, but that’s definitely not something I would do”. However, my thoughts on blogging changed once I saw it was recommended by respectable people I followed. A couple of them were Cal Newport, author of Deep Work & Digital Minimalism as well as Seth Godin, entrepreneur and author of The Dip. Both advocated so energetically and convincingly about the merits of blogging that I ultimately decided to give it a try.
